Senior Software Consultant – Tenders & Software Delivery Expert (m|f|d)

As a Technical Software Consultant GovTech at Comsysto Reply, you will combine software engineering expertise with technical consulting for public sector clients. You will support public tender processes by analysing requirements, designing technical solution concepts and contributing to proposals for open-source-based GovTech software projects.
Beyond tender and concept work, you will take technical responsibility in software delivery projects as a Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer or Solution Consultant. Together with multidisciplinary teams of software engineers, architects, agile coaches and domain experts, you will design and implement modern, cloud-native and maintainable software solutions for public administrations.
In this role, you will act as a bridge between tender strategy, technical architecture and agile delivery — helping clients create sustainable digital services that deliver real value for citizens, administrations and public institutions.

• As a Senior Software Consultant, you are familiar with at software engineering and development for both frontend and backend technologies.
• In this role, you will design and develop software applications according to specifications, work in a team of developers and resolve issues presented by our clients.
• You will demonstrate architectural design excellence and are an expert in developing highly robust application.
• Your daily tasks include developing software, deploying the applications to production environments as well as communicating with the client.
• You create technical concepts for public-sector tenders in the GovTech space—especially around open-source-based software development, modern architectures, and digital public services.
• You analyse tender documents and derive technical solution approaches, architecture proposals, implementation concepts, and effort estimates. You take technical ownership in software delivery projects—depending on the setup as Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or Solution Engineer.
• Ideally, you will act as a coach and mentor . This also includes leading reference architectures, management systems, and conducting product reviews.

• You have 5+ years of experience in the field of professional software development for frontend and backend technologies
• You have experience with JVM languages (Spring, Kotlin) and Javascript (React, Angular)
• You create technical concepts for public-sector tenders in the GovTech space—especially around open-source-based software development, modern architectures, and digital public services.
• You have experience with the Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment of code via CI/CD
• You have experience deploying modern applications, building automated testing systems and working with colleagues to develop a stable software architecture.
• You take technical ownership in software delivery projects—depending on the setup as Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or Solution Engineer.
• You have experience with agentic software engineering and use modern AI-supported development approaches to make delivery more productive, structured, and high quality.
• You have hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools, and you are familiar with concepts like context engineering, agentic workflows, MCP, A2A, and agent skills.
• You analyse tender documents and derive technical solution approaches, architecture proposals, implementation concepts, and effort estimates.
• You enjoy continuously exploring new topics, technologies and client contexts, and you are comfortable developing creative, pragmatic solutions in changing environments.
• You are a problem solver with good communication skills
